Many roads lead to Gronau

You can reach the Jazzfest Gronau in many different ways. Whether by bike, car or bus, By train or even by plane, here you will find all the information on how to get there.

Gronau by car

Gronau is easily accessible by car.
The city is located on the A 31 highway (Emden-Ruhr area)
and A 30 (Amsterdam – Hanover – Berlin).
Due to its proximity to the Dutch city of Enschede (6 km), there is a direct connection to the Benelux highway network.

Parking in the city center

It stays that way:
The Gronau Jazz Festival is still a festival of short distances.
Less than 5 to 7 minutes’ walk from the city center, you will find plenty of parking space, most of which is available free of charge:

Gronau by train

The cross-border rail service Gronau – Enschede makes it possible to reach Gronau via the Dutch rail network or the German intercity network (via Münster or Dortmund).

Gronau (Westf) is served by the regional train lines RB 51 (Dortmund – Gronau
– Enschede) and RB 64 (Münster – Gronau – Enschede).

Gronau by plane

From Münster – Osnabrück Airport (FMO – approx. 45 minutes by car), Berlin, Munich, Frankfurt, Stuttgart and Amsterdam are served several times a day. The Amsterdam Schiphol Airport is approximately 2 1/2 hours away from Gronau and is connected to Gronau via a comfortable intercity route.
