Gronau by car

Gronau is easily accessible by car.
The city is located on the freeways A 31 (Emden-Ruhr area)
and A 30 (Amsterdam – Hanover – Berlin).
Due to its proximity to the major Dutch city of Enschede (6 km), there is a direct connection to the Benelux highway network.

Gronau by train

The cross-border rail service Gronau – Enschede offers the possibility to reach Gronau via the Dutch rail network or the German Intercity network (via Münster or Dortmund).

Gronau (Westf) is served by the RegionalBahn lines RB 51 (Dortmund – Gronau
– Enschede) and RB 64 (Münster – Gronau – Enschede).

Gronau by plane

From the airport Münster – Osnabrück ( FMO – about 45 minutes by car) can Berlin, Munich, Frankfurt, Stuttgart and Amsterdam are served several times a day. The Amsterdam Schiphol Airport is about 2 1/2 hours away from Gronau, it is connected to Gronau via a comfortable intercity route connected.
