The Austrian jazz pianist David Helbock belongs to the generation of young jazz musicians who are pushing the boundaries of their profession, radically changing the musical understanding of old and new, of composition and improvisation, of style and personality, and going their own way. He is regarded as one of the most exciting artists in European jazz and tours regularly at international festivals and in major concert halls worldwide.

His project Random/Control is known for its variety of instruments: Andreas Broger plays clarinet, saxophones, flutes and occasionally sings. Johannes Bär masters brass instruments such as sousaphone, tuba and trumpet, as well as didgeridoo, beatbox and drums, while David Helbock concentrates on piano and percussion.

They will be supported by the exceptional artist Fola Dada. The trained jazz singer has become an integral part of the German jazz and soul scene and was awarded the German Jazz Prize in the vocal category in 2022. Helbock’s passionate, wild trio meets one of Germany’s most exciting singers!
