Götz Alsmann and his band present their new show, “KOMPLIMENT …”
A compliment can make life more beautiful, but also more complicated—after all, “compliment” and “complicated” seem to share the same root.
But when Götz Alsmann and his band thoughtfully bestow musical compliments in their new program—even as their music occasionally takes a rather mischievous turn—gems from the past hundred-plus years of German pop history help make life significantly less complicated.
The unmistakable jazz approach with which Götz Alsmann tackles the lyrical, philosophical, melancholic, rustic, and humorous messages of the songs, pop songs, and chansons has made him and his musicians leading interpreters of their unique art form, “Jazzschlager.”

Les Brünettes
The a cappella group Les Brünettes looks back on more than 16 years filled with music, friendship, and creative adventures. Since 2010, Juliette Brousset, Stephanie Neigel, Julia Pellegrini, and Lisa Herbolzheimer have taken stages by storm with their unique sound and established themselves as one of the leading all-female a cappella groups.
They have released five albums, sung into the Beatles’ microphones at Abbey Road Studios, performed at the Elbphilharmonie in Hamburg, played with the HR and WDR Big Bands, and were featured on *heute journal*. Their concert promises an exciting musical journey through the highlights of their career—from their early beginnings to award-winning performances on international stages.

Following the success of the last two years, there will once again be a concert for primary school classes this year. Alma Naidu and Jakob Manz will take on the challenge and the young audience.
